In February, the Bear Festival, a very old carnival festival, takes place in Arles-sur-Tech, Prats-de-Mollo and Saint-Laurent-de-Cerdans in the purest Catalan tradition.
In April, during "Holy Week", another Catalan tradition, more than six centuries old, awaits you in Collioure, Elne, Arles-sur-Tech, Bouleternère... the best known being that of Perpignan : the procession of the Sanch.
On the night of June 23, the whole department is set ablaze for the Fires of Saint John, a highly Catalan tradition up to the summit of Canigou...
With the beautiful days, many festivals punctuate the warm summer evenings, in the forefront of which :

Chaque année, début août, Palau del Vidre accueille également le Festival International du Verre.

Début Septembre, à Thuir, le Festival Pellicu-live, parrainé par François-Xavier Demaison, met à l'honneur Cinéma, Live et Gastronomie.
